We take a long train trip through western Queensland to the outback towns of Charleville (where we visit a wildlife centre and museum), and Longreach (home of the QANTAS Museum and Stockman’s Hall of Fame). We then head back east to Rockhampton, stopping at Barcaldine along the way.
